Né à Venise en 1952, il obtint sa semikhah au Collège rabbinique italien en 1973 après des études à la Yeshivat Merkaz haRav et au Makhon Lifshitz en Israël. Sofer (scribe) et shohet, il fut rabbin de Venise puis de Trieste et travailla au renforcement de la référence halakhique dans la communauté. Il mourut à Strasbourg en 1992.
