Née Hannah Rabinsohn le 28 décembre 1893 à Codăești. Dirigeante de facto du Parti communiste roumain dans l'après-guerre, ministre des Affaires étrangères de décembre 1947 à juillet 1952 — considérée comme la première femme au monde à ce poste. Écartée du pouvoir en 1952, morte à Bucarest en 1960.
