- Né à Médéa vers 1800 (d'après son acte de décès), fils de Moïse Zermati et de Mouni Ayache, a épousé successivement Sultana Zermati, Messaouda Dahan et Aziza Saffar. Salomon Zermati fut l'interprète d'Abd-el-Kader qui l'envoya en 1839 remettre une lettre au ministre de la guerre, pour le roi Louis Philippe.
