Le Hokhmat Adam est un abrégé halakhique couvrant les lois quotidiennes (Orah Haïm et Yoré Déa). Rédigé dans un hébreu clair et accessible, il a servi de manuel pratique pour les Juifs du quotidien qui n'avaient pas accès au Shulkhan Arukh complet. Son complément, le Binat Adam, traite des cas complexes.
