Principal orchestre de Jérusalem, fondé en 1936 par le Palestine Broadcasting Service comme aile musicale de Kol Yerushalayim, première radio diffusant en hébreu. Devenu après 1948 l'orchestre de Kol Yisrael, puis, dans les années 1970, le Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra de l'Israel Broadcasting Authority, il commande et crée de nombreuses œuvres israéliennes.
