Fondée en 1993 par Suzan Wynne, Gesher Galicia est une organisation à but non lucratif consacrée à la recherche des racines juives de l'ancienne province austro-hongroise de Galicie (aujourd'hui ouest de l'Ukraine et sud-est de la Pologne). Elle indexe les actes d'état civil, registres de recensement, cartes cadastrales et documents d'archives, accessibles via sa base « All Galicia Database » couvrant 1786-1945.
