Born on April 5, 1921 in Bucharest (Romania), merchant. Took refuge in the Italian occupation zone in 1943; his family was threatened after the German invasion of September 1943. A young resister, Lucien was shot by the Germans at La Paute (Bourg-d'Oisans, Isère) on August 14, 1944. His father, Julien Natanson, a paper merchant in Paris, took his own life in the Romanche the following day, after witnessing his son's execution. Their memory is carried forward by Dominique Natanson (Jewish Memory & Education).
