The Jerusalem Talmud, completed around 400 CE in the academies of Tiberias, Caesarea and Sepphoris, is the Mishnah commentary elaborated by the Sages of the Land of Israel. It preserves unique halakhic and aggadic traditions absent from the Babylonian Talmud.
