❧ Description
An entirely Luzzattian collection (in the sense of the Ramhal, 1707-1747), assembled in Padua around 1725. It notably contains the Shir la-ḥatunat Yitsḥaḳ ben Shabtai Marini — an epithalamium composed by the Ramhal for the wedding of Isaac ben Shabtai Marini — a commentary on Rosh ha-Shanah, and other pieces from the Paduan circle of the Ramhal. Together with MS. Reggio 11 and MS. Reggio 31, it is one of the three Reggio pieces where the Ramhal milieu is explicitly documented.
Provenance: 1 Paduan circle of the Ramhal, ca. 1725 2 Isaac Samuel Reggio Library (1784-1855) 3 Bodleian Library, since 1853
