International association of rabbis of Conservative Judaism, founded in Philadelphia in 1901 as an association of alumni of the Jewish Theological Seminary, then renamed Rabbinical Assembly in 1918. It defines the ideology, halakha, and practices of the Conservative movement and publishes its responsa.
