History register · custodian, not owner
Publishing house of Jewish religious texts founded in 1961 by typographer Eliyahu Koren, with the ambition to produce the first Hebrew Bible entirely designed, edited and printed by Jews in nearly five centuries. The Koren Bible (1962) is the reference standard: recognized by the Chief Rabbinate, it serves for the presidential oath-taking in Israel.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
