The memory of the People of the Book is not limited to manuscripts and sacred texts. It also lives in the testimonies of the men and women who passed through history, handing down from generation to generation the stories, traditions and life lessons that form collective identity. This section is dedicated to gathering and preserving these living memories.
In the autumn of his life, a man looks at the footprints he has left behind him: there are his own and those of God. But in difficult times, there is only one set of footprints. So he calls out to Heaven:
« Why, Lord, did you abandon me when I was in distress? »
And God answers him: « When you were in distress, I was carrying you. »
