Region: Allemagne (Bavière/Haut-Palatinat)
A borough in the Upper Palatinate (Bavaria), Floß (Floss) welcomed a significant Jewish community in the 17th–19th centuries, protected by the Palatine princes of Sulzbach. The synagogue of Floß, well attested, was a center of communal life for the Jews of the region.
