Yeshiva founded in 1869 in Radin by Rabbi Yisrael Meir Kagan, the "Chofetz Chaim," a major halakhic and moral authority of Lithuanian Judaism. Led by Rabbi Naftali Trop, it was a center of reference for Talmudic study before its destruction during the Holocaust.
