Founded in London in 1920 by Rebecca Sieff, Vera Weizmann and others to provide community services in Mandate Palestine, it later relocated its headquarters to Tel Aviv. The world's largest Zionist women's organization, it is dedicated to social welfare, women's status and children's education in Israel.
