Holocaust memorial museum founded in 1984 by survivors, the first independent Holocaust museum in the United States, originally the "Holocaust Memorial Center." Housed since 2004 in Farmington Hills (Detroit area) and renamed "Zekelman" in 2022, it is Michigan's largest Holocaust museum.
