History register · custodian, not owner
The world's largest collection of Jewish documentary films, founded in the late 1960s within the Institute of Contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Renamed in 1988 after filmmaker Steven Spielberg, it holds over 20,000 titles, including footage from Mandate Palestine, diaspora communities and the Holocaust.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
