Israel's national natural history museum and national center for the study of biodiversity, affiliated with Tel-Aviv University and opened in 2018 through the patronage of Michael and Judy Steinhardt. It houses some 5.5 million specimens accumulated by researchers, combining research, conservation, and education functions.
