Founded in 1962 in Buenos Aires under the auspices of the Conservative (Masorti) movement, this seminary is the principal institution of rabbinical training in Latin America. It trained the vast majority of Conservative rabbis serving in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and other Latin American countries. Rabbi Marshall Meyer was its founding figure and gave it a prophetic and socially engaged orientation, notably during the Argentine dictatorship.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
