Attached to the University of Southampton, the Parkes Institute was established as an institute in October 2000 around the library bequeathed by Reverend James Parkes (given in 1964). It is the oldest and largest world center dedicated to the study of relations between Jews and non-Jews, from Antiquity to today.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
