The Raschi-Haus houses the Worms municipal museum devoted to Jewish history, in a city whose community dates back at least to the tenth century and which formed, together with Mainz and Speyer, the learned triad known as 'SchUM'. The museum exhibits liturgical objects, manuscripts, lapidary inscriptions, and testimonies on Rhenish communal life. It is adjacent to the medieval Jewish cemetery 'Heiliger Sand', one of the oldest in Europe still preserved. The ensemble has formed a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
