First rural museum in Israel and the first museum run by a kibbutz, born in 1937 from an "art corner" organized by painter Haim Atar at Ein Harod. Its building, designed by Samuel Bickels, was inaugurated in 1948. Specializing in the art of Jewish diaspora artists and Jewish folk art, it preserves more than 20,000 works.
