The first Holocaust museum in the world, founded in 1949 by survivors and fighters of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising who had taken refuge in Israel. Its archives hold letters, diaries, filmed testimonies, and works of art created in the ghettos and camps. The museum also houses the Yad LaYeled humanistic education center, dedicated to the Memory of the 1.5 million Jewish children who were murdered.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
