Jewish Museum of Switzerland founded in Basel in 1966, the first Jewish museum in the German-speaking region of Europe after World War II. It presents the religious and daily history of the Jews of Basel and Switzerland through ritual objects and art, from the Middle Ages to the present, including the collection of mappot from Lengnau.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
