History register · custodian, not owner
Inaugurated in March 2019 in Johannesburg (Forest Town), this center explores the history of the Holocaust and the 1994 Rwandan genocide by placing them in dialogue with contemporary human rights issues in South Africa. It is the first public-private partnership of this kind with the City of Johannesburg and serves as a complement to the South African Jewish Museum in Cape Town. Its permanent exhibitions are designed for school audiences in South Africa.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
