Jewish Museum of Oslo, established as a foundation in 2003 and opened to the public in 2008 in the former synagogue on Calmeyers gate. It traces the history of the Norwegian Jewish community, notably the deportation during the Holocaust. It is one of two Jewish museums in Norway, a central institution for Jewish memory in the country.
