National Academy of Israel for sciences and humanities, established by a Knesset law in 1961 (proclaimed by Martin Buber in 1959). Located on Albert Einstein Square in Jerusalem, it brings together the country's most eminent researchers, advises the government on research of national interest and represents Israeli science internationally.
