Center for Hebrew and Sephardic studies created in 1941 within the CSIC by Francisco Cantera Burgos and José María Millás Vallicrosa, named after humanist Benito Arias Montano. It promotes research on the history and culture of the Jews of Spain and has published since 1941 the scholarly journal Sefarad; today it is integrated into the Instituto de Lenguas y Culturas del Mediterráneo y Oriente Próximo.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
