Founded in 1999 at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with the support of the Minerva Foundation (Max-Planck-Gesellschaft), this center is dedicated to the study of modern German Jewish philosophy and thought. Its work focuses notably on the writings of Franz Rosenzweig, Martin Buber, and their contemporaries, as well as on Jewish-Christian relations in the twentieth century. It publishes critical editions and organizes international seminars.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
